Sam breathed hard. He growled at the cat as it ran off. He soon loosened up. He panted hard. He could taste blood in his thraot. He looked at his bleeding shoulder.

"Then why did they attack us?" ScarletClaw mewed, then replying to her question added "I'm sad because I killed a cat. why wouldn't I be sad?"
